Ook 7 anderen werden veroordeeld. Jimmy Lai zit momenteel al een andere straf van 20 maanden uit.

Dat was toen een hoogtepunt van het protest tegen China en er namen toen 1,7 van de iets meer dan 7 miljoen inwoners van Hongkong aan deel.
