So you can have melee out, switch to Assail and throw a shard, then switch back to melee in less than half a second. I use this to run a build where I do more damage the more peril I have and stay at around 90%. Love a good bit of assail. It adds a lot of utility to the psyker even on higher difficulty.

Yep, also probably need a mild reduction to the max amount you can have, 10 is to much, 7 or 8 would be plenty, or even 5-6 if they increased the number of enemies hit by 1. Just hoping the damage doesn't get nuked, that would just suck. Coming from a Psyker, 7-8 with a higher peril % per toss.

You keep the team safe from hordes with low cost abilities and they do the rest. Why the hell would I put away a long range tool?
