Apr 5, 2024 Apple Podcasts are slow or failing to load after iOS 17.4.1 update. The Apple Podcast app isnt loading quickly since the update and can often take several minutes for me to either enter a section on my Apple Podcasts app. It sometimes takes me quitting the app for the app to get either the download to become available or for it to delete.

Jun 18, 2021 Based on the article above "Use Apple Podcasts on your iPhone or iPad" you can adjust the playback speed by tapping the playback speed button and choosing a speed: Half speed, normal speed normal, one and a half speed, or double speed.

Admittedly I am a podcast addict, with probably over 100 different downloads every week, but I was wondering if anyone else has an issue with podcasts stopping mid way? I usually have to go back into the app and press play again which can also take some time (the app just seems to be really slow)

Basically whenever I havent opened the app in a while (say a couple of hours), and then I open the app, the library page would take minutes to load.

Oct 29, 2013 I can click on any type of libraries (music, movies, tv shows) without any lag. When I click on Podcasts it hangs for a few seconds. Just clicking on one of my podcasts takes 3-5 seconds to load the list. Scrolling through them is also very very slow. I have just about 7 podcasts on that list with about 30 episodes each, which doesn't seem much.

Mar 19, 2023 Podcasts App audio speed About a week ago now the audio speed is increased like double time. I first thought it was something with my car Bluetooth hook up, but even when disconnected from my car it still has the issue.

Is the Podcast app incredibly slow and laggy for anyone else? My hardware is a regular iPhone 4. The app takes about 10 secs to start taking any input and even after that, the response time is noticeably slow.

I updated my iPhone 6s to the beta of iOS 14.5 this morning and the podcast app keeps crashing after about 25-30 seconds. Is anyone else experiencing this? And is there any solution to this issue?
