This grouping of papers grew out of the 15th Annual International Virginia Woolf Conference, whose theme The Art of Exploration furnished a provocative entry-point into Woolf s aesthetic and political priorities. Literal geographical explorations shape several of Woolf s fictions, which transport us to locales around the globe.
