February 16, 2024. This year, the PIPA Prize Nominating Committee is composed of 24 members, invited by PIPAs Board. The group is formed by Brazilian professionals from all over the country and foreigners, resulting in an heterogenous selection of renowned names that work with contemporary art.

Jan 26, 2024 Each of the two artists with the most votes will receive a donation of R$5,000.00 (five thousand reais). The voting is scheduled to happen in July 2024. The artists nominated for the 15th edition of the PIPA Prize will be announced in bulletins between February 16 and March 1st.

Orlando Maneschy holds a PhD in Communication and Semiotics from Pontifcia Universidade Catlica de So Paulo Brazil, funded by CNPq (Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation) (2001 2005). His thesis is titled Unfolded Images: Communicating operations of the image in the territory of art.

The PIPA Prize 2018 Nominating Committee is composed of 28 members, amongst Brazilian professionals from all over the country and foreigners. Each of them nominates from one to three artists to run for the ninth edition of the award, keeping in mind the relevance of the Prize for the development and growth of the Brazilian artistic production.

From 61 participating artists, only 9 were classified for the second round. At midnight, you can start voting for how may artists you want, but can only fir one vote per artist. To vote, a Facebook profile will be needed.
