Apr 20, 2019 Yeah, that FPS seems low for an RTX 2070 card. I get 80~100 FPS in GTAV with 2x msaa, all very high settings and some adv. settings turned on with my GTX 1070. GTA V is one of the open-world games that I've tested so far that works perfectly. It has very smooth framerate, but the other ones barely manage to stay at 60.

Nov 11, 2021 I have weird fps drops while playing gta v offline mode. During the day I get stable 60 fps, but when night comes there are noticable drops 5-10 fps. My pc is new, only my gpu is kinda old.. we all know getting a new gpu cost you a leg or two. Only mods I use are VisualV base files without reshade or ENB, and some vehicles, props addons. Specs:

Feb 5, 2021 The implementation of MSAA is really poorly optimized in GTA V and it usually hits your FPS pretty hard even on higher end systems. If you want to get rid of aliasing I would turn on FXAA and, if your PC has the horsepower to handle it, try turning going to the advanced graphics settings and try setting the frame scaling mode to x1.2 or so.
