Here are some ideas I found: Using the filmic module. Using the "t3mujinpack" presets (google them) for emulating the colours of some film stock. Using 3D-luts in the upcoming (3.0) DarkTable that emulate film look (haven't tried that myself). Adding blur with the lowpass module.
