Sometimes known as the "Jewish Alps," it covered an area of about 250 square miles. Sam Lurie, Collections and Programming Manager Sam is a recent graduate of Rutgers University with a B.A. in History and Jewish Studies. His research at Rutgers included a senior seminar project on the history of the Borscht Belt, for which he was awarded the Daniel Horn prize for best research paper on a Jewish topic.
